A dance team for all ages that empowers dancers to grow as leaders, serve their community and express themselves through movement. At Elevate, we believe that dance is more than steps—it’s a way to lift others up. Through performance, volunteer work and acts of kindness, we inspire kids to make an impact!

Details:

• Dance experience is not required & open to all ages. May have more than one team depending on age & dance experience.

• $50 fee per dancer. Price includes tuition for the 4-week classes & a team shirt to wear at events.

• Hearts in Motion will meet every week in July

• Dancers will learn a routine and perform at the end of the month at an assisted living community to bring joy through performance!

• Dancers will also hand out cards made during our rehearsals to give to the elderly.

If there is further interest to continue during the fall, Hearts in Motion will include the following:

• Outreach outside of dancing:

• Community clean up days

• Donating care kits to shelters or hospitals

• Holiday outreach like toys or cards 

• Leadership-Focused Volunteer roles for older dancers

• Read books at local library and teach a 5-minute movement activity

• Lead free dance classes for boys and girls clubs or events at the studio

• Choreograph a dance for our Showcase

• Dance for a cause Showcase

• We will host an annual performance at our studio where all proceeds go to a youth organization or local family in need at the end of the season

• Perform at community events

• local festivals

• Charity walks/runs

• City events & Holiday celebrations
